Professor Terian Reception

On Friday evening, October 10, 2008 the Board of Directors of St. Nersess Armenian Seminary hosted a reception for Professor Abraham Terian on the occasion of his retirement from full-time teaching at St. Nersess Seminary. Over 100 guests were in attendance to witness the reading of the encyclical (Gontag) of His Holiness Catholicos Karekin II to Dr. Terian and the bestowal of the St. Mesrob Mashdots medal on him.

On Saturday, October 11 V. Rev. Fr. Daniel Findikyan celebrated the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Holy Translators at St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral in New York with the seminarians serving at the holy altar. During the ceremonies two seminarians, Gregory Andonian and Vahagn Azizyan, were elevated to the rank of sub-deacon by His Eminence Abp. Khajag Barsamian.

Evening Under the Stars 9/13/08

On Saturday, September 13, 2008 St. Nersess sponsored an "Evening Under the Stars" reception to benefit the Seminary's youth and vocations programs. More than 100 guests enjoyed the reception on the beautiful Seminary grounds, with loving service provided by recent participants of the St. Nersess summer programs.
