The Deacons' Training and Liturgical Music Program is especially for
young men and women who would like to participate more actively and
meaningfully in the worship of the Armenian Church. Practical workshops
and interactive classes teach the participants the deacons' parts of
the liturgy and take the mystery out of the rituals, the music, the
symbols, and the chants. Students who complete the program return to
their home churches with polished liturgical skills, a more satisfying
sense of participation in the church's worship, and many new friends.
This summer's program will provide two simultaneous courses: Beginners
will focus on the deacons' parts of the Divine Liturgy. Advanced
students will learn the deacons' portions of the Marriage Service and
the Evening Service (Giragamdits).
All participants will benefit from daily study of the Bible and
Liturgy, morning and evening worship, Armenian language instruction and
recreational and social activities, which make the Deacons' Training
Program rewarding and fun.The program is open to men and women at least
15 years old. No previous experience is necessary.
VRev. Fr. Daniel Findikyan, Dean of

TAKE A MOMENT TO PRAY for all who are studying at St. Nersess Seminary and all other seminaries of the Armenian Church. May God inspire them to loving leadership in the Church.
