Kreesdos haryav ee merelots (Քրիստոս յարեաւ ի մեռելոց)
Description: This is the introit [Ժամամուտ] for Easter and Eastertide. An ancient hymn that is common to many eastern churches, it proclaims the central message of the Christian faith. Translation: Christ is risen from the dead! By dying he trampled on death and by his resurrection he has given us the gift of life. To him be glory forever. Amen. 
Canticles of Daniel (Voch eench eh beedo)
Description: The reading of the third chapter of the Old Testamental Book of Daniel (in its expanded deuterocanonical version) is the climax of the Jrakalooyts Paschal Vigil readings of Holy Saturday. Since ancient times the story of the Three Youths in the Fiery Furnace was interpreted by Christians as alluding to Christ's victory over sin, death, and the flames of hell.
