Christmas is over. The New Year has dawned. And twelve St. Nersess Seminarians are returning to New Rochelle for the Spring semester.
Classes begin on Monday, January 24 for the Spring semester, which will take the students through Great Lent and Easter to commencement in the middle of May.
In addition to various levels of Modern and Classical Armenian, a number of other courses will be offered this term.
Fr. Daniel Findikyan will offer Origins and Development of the Liturgical Year, a study of the feasts of the church year with special emphasis on the distinctive features of the Armenian Church's ecclesiastical calendar.
Dr. Roberta Ervine will teach courses in Armenian language (modern and classical) and Armenian Church History. Dr. Ervine will also continue guiding several students on an individual basis in tutorial-type reading courses.
