Young Armenian-Americans who have some time on their hands this summer can still have the chance to spend a few days at St. Nersess this summer. Currently there are a few spaces available in the High School A and High School C conferences. There is also room in the Junior High School and Post High School B conferences.
To register, DOWNLOAD AN APPLICATION, fill it out, enclose your tuition check payable to "St. Nersess Armenian Seminary" and mail it right away to the Seminary at 150 Stratton Road, New Rochelle, NY 10804. Many parishes offer scholarships for their young people to attend St. Nersess. Check with your local priest or parish council.
The St. Nersess Armenian Seminary summer youth conferences provide an inspiring venue for young people to learn about themselves, their culture and their relationship to Jesus.
The St. Nersess campus offers a wonderful setting, almost like a sanctuary from the hectic pace of contemporary America, where young Armenians can spend quality time with old and new friends. It's a fun time filled with education, renewal and fellowship.
"I have attended more than twenty St. Nersess conferences over the past ten years," says Gregory Guroian, a veteran of the St. Nersess conferences. "It's an experience that never gets old. I always come away feeling better about myself, having made many new friends and, most importantly, having been brought closer to my faith. I highly recommend these conferences to youth of all ages, be it middle school, high school, or even college. Ask anyone who has attended, the St. Nersess experience is legendary."
Guroian will serve as Assistant Director this summer. The Director of Youth and Vocations is Rev. Fr. Stepanos Doudoukjian.
