Principal Canon of Exodus 15 (Avak Orhnootyoon)
(Օրհնեսցուք զտէր եւ զյաղթող զօրութիւն)
Translated by: V. Rev. Fr. Daniel Findikyan
Let us praise the Lord and his might. Let us sing to him with glory for he is our Savior and Protector and Helper.
This is our God, whom we saw enthroned in glory with the Father, having appeared on earth. Let us sing to him, for he is our Savior and Protector and Helper.
By his death on the cross he restored life to the dead, and by his body nailed to it, he unlatched the bolts of death. Let us all sing to him, for he is our Savior and Protector and Helper.
You bore in your womb the whom no one can bear, and inconceivably you gave birth to Christ, the hope of the human race. Intercede always with him to grant us life.
The Lord, mighty in strength, plunged Pharaoh's chariots and his forces into the Red Sea. Let us sing to him with glory for his is the glorified Lord.
